Huawei could announce its entry into the notebook market this Sunday at its Mobile World Congress 2016 press conference in Barcelona.
Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong today shared an invite to the company’s MWC 2016 press conference on his Weibo account, suggesting the launch of a new business oriented device. The device is expected to be the Huawei Matebook, which is rumored to be a hybrid notebook with stylus support.
The Huawei Matebook will reportedly include a 12.9-inch display and will dual boot Windows 10 and Android operating systems. While the core hardware specs remain a mystery for now, the hybrid notebook is said to be powered by an Intel CPU. Targeted mainly at business users, Huawei could price the device at around $600 or more.
