HTC One Mini final specifications confirmed via GFX Bench

A listing on popular benchmark site GFX Bench allows us to take a look at the final and confirmed specifications for the upcoming HTC One Mini.

HTC One Mini

The HTC One Mini is the company’s answer to the Galaxy S4 Mini. ‘Mini’ is the new trend in Smartphones, brought in by Samsung last year with the original Galaxy S3 Mini. While OEMs continue to churn out bigger and meaner Smartphones everyday, a majority of the consumers feel alienated thanks to one little problem with them, their preference for ‘reasonably’ sized phones. Well, you have been heard, and answered as well by the likes of Samsung, and now HTC.

HTC One Mini specifications:

  • 1.4 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon 400 Chipset
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 4.3-inch HD (1280 x 720) Display
  • UltraPixel Camera
  • 16 GB Internal Storage
  • HTC BoomSound, Beats Audio
  • 1700 mAh Battery
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

Powering the One Mini is a not-so-impressive 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait 200 processor, coupled with the Adreno 305 GPU (which we feel might just fall short of playing games at 720p). A 4.3-inch HD display translates into a cool 342 ppi pixel density. We’ll be seeing more of the new HTC exclusive features such as the UltraPixel camera technology and HTC BoomSound in the new One Mini.

The one department where the One Mini falls short of expectations is the battery. A 1700 mAh unit might struggle to chug through the entire day… Sigh. Thankfully, HTC has the software side of the phone covered as it will be launching with the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, with HTC Sense 5 UI skin running atop of course.
