HP ENVY 14 Spectre Review: Ultrabook with unique glass design

With more Ultrabooks coming to the market, consumers may be confused between them and the thin and light notebooks. HP had unveiled the stylish ENVY 14 Spectre at CES this year, but is this portable machine as good as it looks? VR-Zone finds out.

The HP ENVY 14 Spectre was unveiled early this year, though it only arrived in Singapore around end February. The latest member to HP's ENVY portfolio features a clever and unique use of midnight Corning Gorilla Glass on the outside and silver glass on the inside, which combined to give an extremely stylish look. Not to mention, this also differentiates the HP from the other Ultrabooks on the market today.

According to the company, the ENVY 14 Spectre has a 14-inch diagonal screen that is packed inside a 13.3-inch diagonal body, and the reason HP has chosen the name "Spectre" was to evoke a sense of mystery. Like its sibling in the series, this one also comes with Beats Audio technology which promises superb audio experience to the users. Howver, the Beats Audio headphones were not included with the review unit and you may have to purchase it separately.
