HP Amps Up Your Workspace With Printer-Speaker Combo

HP has announced the HP AMP 125, an ultra-compact thermal inkjet printer that vies to make the best of your limited desk space. Despite its svelte form, the HP AMP125 keeps up with your steady output of A4 documents to 10x15cm photo printouts throughout your hectic day. And by night, it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, ready for all your bedroom parties and study soirees.

With ever-shrinking housing floor areas as a result of ever-rising property prices, it can be hard to justify your wild range of desktop accoutrement. You see, while desktop printers are essential for both professionals and students alike, they tend to be bulky.

The HP AMP 125 inkjet printer solves this by moonlighting as a high-quality Bluetooth speaker. As a printer without compromise, it is designed to be fully integrated with your smartphone via the HP Smart App. The AMP 125 is able to print photos from your gallery or social media on demand, while users can also scan documents with their smartphone camera.

Compatible with Apple AirPrint, HP ePrint, and the HP Smart App, the printer is also able to print via direct Wi-Fi and USB connection.

Got a document to print when you get home over the weekend? Monitor printer ink levels (and instantly order them online) on the move, or perhaps pick up cartridges on the way home to alleviate any printer-related mishap.

Doubling as a Bluetooth speaker, the HP AMP 125 promises stellar sound quality with great clarity and a powerful bass, with its 15-watt speakers on board.

The AMP 125 also has a built-in USB port that can double up to charge your devices for added functionality.

At 1200×1200 dpi (black and white) and 4800×1200 dpi (colour), the HP AMP 125 is a compact yet capable partner for your productive needs. It requires two ink cartridges for full functionality – black and tri-colour (cyan, magenta, yellow).

The HP AMP 125 is available in Singapore at an MSRP of SGD169. It can be found on the HP online store and retailers islandwide.
