High Power Performance Pro 750W PSU review

High Power is using a very popular 140mm fan from Globe, the S1352512H, which they enhanced by installing “Golf ball surface” fan blades to improve airflow and reduce drag noise. The S1352512H is a commonly used sleeve bearing 140mm fan with a maximum speed of 1500RPM.

The OEM behind the Performance Pro 750W power supply could not have been any other but Sirfa. This product is based on a popular design which several other high-output products also made by Sirfa are currently sharing.

The filtering stage of the High Power Performance Pro 750W unit starts at the back of the A/C receptacle and continues on the PCB itself. There are three Y-type capacitors, two X-type capacitors, two ferrite coils and a surge suppressing MOV.

The single 400V/390μF primary capacitor is made by Rubycon, one of the most reputable Japanese manufacturers. Teapo is the supplies of every single other capacitor we have found in this power supply.

High Power likes using good heatsinks and this time they installed sizable heatsinks with copper fins which should provide ample heat dissipation surface.
