GIGABYTE Intel Sandy Bridge Mainboards Launch Event

Enthusiasts, press and vendors get together, under one roof, to share the excitement of previewing GIGABYTE’s brand new line-up of Intel mainboards made for the Sandy Bridge microarchitecture.

SINGAPORE – Huddled beneath the warmish lighting of D’Lemon 3 Thai Kitchen & Cafe, under the roof of Summer View Hotel (located along Bencoolen Street), movers and shakers of Singapore’s PC hardware scene got together to preview the next-generation Intel mainboards from GIGABYTE.
Organised by CDL Trading Pte. Ltd. in conjunction with GIGA-BYTE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., this event offers attendees the opportunity to get first hand education about Intel’s next generation desktop processors from GIGABYTE, and even the chance to sink their teeth into some of GIGABYTE’s latest mainboards.
Yes, GIGABYTE wants you to weigh the mass of their 2 oz copper Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in your own hands. Of course, no food and drinks until you’ve heard the full story from GIGABYTE’s Motherboard Product Manager, Mr. Hunter Lee himself!
I swear I’d seen one of those images before!
Intel’s socket transition is on track – we’d be moving to LGA1155 mainstream desktop processor computing at the very start of Q1’11.
As much as we’re focussing on mainstream Sandy Bridge platforms today, don’t forget to peek into the enthusiast-oriented future with VR-Zone.com‘s very own crystal ball.
