Building a new high-end gaming PC? Then you should definitely check out Gigabyte’s new AORUS-branded GeForce GTX 1080 Ti custom card.
The card features a WINDFORCE triple-slot cooling solution with three 100mm stack fans, front copper base plate, copper back plate, and composite heat pipes. When spending top dollar for a flagship graphics card, most users do expect the card to have some bling as well. The AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G certainly had loads of bling, thanks to RGB Fusion illumination with 16.8 million color options and various lighting effects to choose from. Another recent trend, VR, is taken care of as well. With AORUS VR Link, you get 1 extra HDMI port on the front and 2 at the rear, letting you connect a VR device and up to two HDMI monitors at the same time.
With extreme overclocking in mind, the AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G features an impressive 12+2 power phase design. Straight out of the factory, the card features a 1569 MHz base clock in Gaming mode and a boost clock of 1683 MHz. In OC mode, these values rise to 1594 MHz and 1708 MHz, respectively. The 11GB of GDDR5X memory is clocked at 11010 MHz. Display outputs on the card include a dual-link DVI-D, three HDMI 2.0b, and three Display Port 1.4. The card requires dual 8-pin power connectors and at least a 600W PSU.
Gigabyte hasn’t released any details regarding pricing or availability yet, but we do expect it to be among the most expensive custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards when it goes on sale in the coming weeks.
