Gigabyte today added a new high-end motherboard to its product lineup with the X99-SLI LGA2011v3 motherboard.
The motherboard features the standard ATX form-factor and is similar to the Gigabyte X99-UD4 motherboard in a few areas. It offers eight DDR DIMM slots, four PCI-Express 3.0 x 16 slots, M.2 slot, SATA Express 10 GB/s port, ten SATA 6 GB/s ports, eight USB 3.0 ports, and a single gigabit Ethernet connection.
It comes with Gigabyte’s AMP-Up audio solution that comprises of a Realtek ALC1150 codec with audio-grade capacitors, audio-grade electrolytic capacitors, headphone amp, and ground-layer. The motherboard can be powered by a 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors. There is an optional 4-pin Molex input as well that can help stabilize a multi-GPU configuration if you are using the PCI-Express slot to power them. To power the CPU there is a 6-phase VRM present onboard.
