NVIDIA rolled out a Destiny 2 bundle back in June, offering customers picking up the GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti a free copy of Bungie’s upcoming title. With the PC beta of Destiny 2 set to kick off from August 28, NVIDIA is reintroducing the bundle.
From now until September 5, customers purchasing a GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti will receive Destiny 2 for free, along with three in-game items: Coldheart Exotic Rifle, Kill Tracker Ghost, and the Salute emote. The promotion is also available for those picking up pre-built systems that feature the GTX 1080 or the 1080 Ti. As is the case with all bundles, be sure to take a look at the full list of participating stores.
Right now, it’s unclear if the bundle will include codes to unlock the Destiny 2 Early Access beta. If you’re looking to get in on the action and don’t want to pick up a new video card, you’ll be glad to know that NVIDIA is giving away free Early Access codes this week.
As for the game itself, Destiny 2 will be a continuation of the first title, combining a first-person shooter with role-playing and sci-fi elements. The game is also getting the High Dynamic Range treatment, as well as SLI.
