‘Forza 5’ to be offered for free with Xbox One in the US

Microsoft will give away a digital download code for Forza 5 with every purchase of the Xbox One in the U.S. for a limited time.

Major Nelson announced on his blog that Microsoft will be offering Forza 5 for free with the Xbox One for a limited time in the U.S. The bundle will only be available at select retailers, but it is likely that major stores like Amazon and Best Buy will offer the deal. Forza 5 is one of the best-selling titles for the Xbox One, so it is clear that Microsoft is trying to entice more users into buying the console by bundling the game for free.

Microsoft is also launching a Titanfall Xbox One bundle on March 11. The bundle will still retail for $499, but will come with a digital download version of the game. Microsoft’s move to not include a disc of the game was met with criticism from users after it was revealed that Titanfall would be a 40 GB download on the Xbox One. If simulation games are more to your liking, then the Forza 5 bundle would be a better choice.
