Final Fantasy VI now available on Android

The last classic Final Fantasy title for the SNES is now available for Android devices.

Final Fantasy VII may not be officially out for mobile devices for a long time, but we’re at least relieved to know that Final Fantasy VI will, and the long wait is finally over. Final Fantasy VI is now at last available on Android.

The release is quite notable due to the unusual later release of its iOS version. Nevertheless, the wait isn’t likely to be that long, and the refined sprite versions of Terra, Celes and the others should be available on iOS devices very soon.

Currently, the game app works for Android 3.2 and above, and is available in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese and Korean. It is available at the Google Play Store for $16.00.
