Facing Off Creme of the Crop DDR2 Memory!

First I tested at a decent timing of CL 4-4-4-5. All 3 pairs of Memory reacted similarly to Memory voltage, scaling well up to 2.7v.

The Corsair CM2X1024-8500C5 does 610MHz, 1220MHz at CL4-4-4-5 and gives an impressive Sisoft Sandra Benchmark of 12154MB/s:

The Corsair CM2X1024-6400C3 does close, she did 604MHz, DDR2 1208MHz CL4-4-4-5:

The GSkill F2-8500PHU2-2GBHZ is the most impressive, doing Sisoft Sandra Memory Bandwidth at 614MHz, DDR2 1228MHz CL4-4-4-5!!

That’s a really high bandwidth score! Here is the ntune Memory tweaks/settings I used:

Pushing the GSkill to the max, they did up to 630MHz, DDR2 1260MHz CL4-4-4-5 for me!

EPP? Well, the board we tested on is an nForce 590 SLI board supporting EPP Enhanced Memory. However, as seen from the bandwidth benchmarks, EPP does not offer any real-world benefits. EPP seems to be more of a standard configured to optimize performance for the layman who does not tinker with BIOS Options. For power users, I do not see a difference.
