Epson Talks About Making Cents, Releases Six New Inkjet Printers

However, printers designed for SOHO and home use were not the only devices announced by Epson at the talkshow yesterday. Also available for businesses are two new B-series printers, both of which are built specially for the business users.

Epson B310N Business Inkjet printer

As business users tend to have much higher demands and more stringent requirements when it comes to IT purchases, devices like printers often require extremely fast printing speeds at low costs.

The newly-launched Epson B310N Business inkjet printer is capable of print speeds of up to 37ppm for both mono and colour prints. In addition, the standard-capacity ink cartridge can produce up to 3000 pages for mono printouts, or 3500 pages for colour printouts. Last but not least, the B310N also boasts a high monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages, making it well-suited to cope with the printing demands of larger offices.

Epson B510DN Business Inkjet printer

For companies which require even more out of their printer, the new Epson B510DN business inkjet printer will probably be right up their alley. In addtion to having all of the features of the earlier B310N, the B510DN comes with duplex capabilities and an even higher monthly cycle of 20,000 pages, which should make it ideal for some of the most demanding print jobs.

Last but not least, the B510DN also features support for high-capacity ink cartridges of up to 4000 pages (mono) and 7000 pages (colour). And if even that is not enough, Epson has also announced an ‘extra high capacity’ black in cartridge which claims a maximum output of up to 8000 pages.

Pricing and availability

The Epson B310N and B510DNare available at all authorised distributors at S$598.00 and S$748.00 respectively.
