With a whole new design concept, the ASUS Padfone transforms from a cellphone device into a tablet PC just by popping the cellphone into the compartment found in the docking screen.

It is said that the docking screen will extend the battery life of the cellphone, which means there's a additional battery pack within the docking screen.

ASUS ultra slim UX laptop series was also launched at Computex yesterday. At only 17mm thick, the UX Series of laptops are going to redefine portability with design as it finished itself with a coating of smooth shiny aluminium.

The UX Series laptop will be running on a second generation Intel Core i7 processor(most likely the ULV variants) and as well as some 6Gbps SSD drives.
