Chipset Makers Nov Revenues Drop

VIA monthly revenues continued to fall sequentially, hurt by a
low ASP for its PT880 dual-channel Pentium 4 chipset that resulted from a late
introduction to the market. SiSposted NT$ 1.416 billion in revenues last month,
down 9.5% on-month. Revenues for the first 11 months of 2003 came to NT$ 15.764
billion, representing 78.8% of its 2003 forecast. ALi generated NT$ 479 million
of revenues in November, down 17.4% sequentially. Its consolidated revenues,
including revenues from 100%-owned ALinx Technology and 60%-owned ULi
Electronics, fell 20% sequentially to NT$ 681 million in November.
