TCL, a chinese manufacturer of televisions, video cameras and mobile phones, is at CES 2012. We came across the TCL A996 Android smartphone that comes with a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It also has 512MB memory, microSD cars slot that supports up to 32GB and built-in G-sensor.

Besides their powerful gaming laptops and slim Ultrabooks, Toshiba is also showcasing their new TVs including the Smart TVs, LED TV, glasses-free 3D TVs as well as a Quad full high defintion (FHD) display that supports a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.

While many manufacturers are showcasing their 3D TVs, 4K TVs and even OLED TVs, Japanese company Sharp is showcasing their new 8K LCD TV which claims to be the first in the world. The display size is 85-inch and resolution is 7680×4320, which means viewing videos and pictures with greater details. However, to get optimized experience, the content should be ideally of same resolution for the display.
