BlackBerry’s upcoming Android smartphones shown off in leaked images

BlackBerry leak

Leaked images of two upcoming BlackBerry smartphones codenamed “Hamburg” and “Rome” have surfaced online.

Unlike the Priv, the Hamburg will not include a physical QWERTY keyboard. The Hamburg will reportedly measure 146mm x 78mm and it appears the smartphone will be made out of metal. If that is indeed the case, then the Hamburg would be the first BlackBerry Android smartphone to feature a metal build. We can also see that the device has a prominent speaker grille on the bottom bezel. According to reports, the Hamburg will be a mid-range smartphone and is expected to be launched in 2H 2016 for around $400.

The Rome on the other hand will be similar to the Priv in that it too features a physical QWERTY keyboard. There is no slider mechanism though, the device has more of a Passport-like design overall. Unfortunately, no other details regarding the Rome are available currently.
