Japanese mobile device peripheral and accessory distributor Hamee introduce smartphone and tablet stands that feature ninjas in action.

Ninjas are awesome, no questions asked. But you know what’s more awesome? Japanese accessory maker Hamee has just hired these assassins from the far east to protect our smartphones and tablets, with the introduction of their limited edition Ninja Smartphone Stand.

There are three different versions of the Ninja Smartphone Stand, each representing some of the popular stealthy techniques that ninjas stereotypically use.

Here, the Tatami-gaeshi (“Tatami Flip”) version shows a ninja performing the tatami flip, with the stand as the tatami floor board.

The Ootako (“Large Kite”) version features a ninja using the traditional kite descent technique, the stand of course being the entire kite.

Lastly, here’s a ninja hiding behind a traditional sliding door, in preparation to assassinate someone from a distance in the Fuki-ya (“Blowpipe”) version.

The Ninja Smartphone Stand is large and sturdy enough to hold most 5-inch smartphones such as the Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, as well as 7-inch tablets like the Nexus 7 and iPad Mini. They are available in Japan at a price equivalent to $20.00.

Need we explain any further?
