Awind McTiVia Review

Front view of the box

The design on the front of the box is simple and clean, featuring a picture of the device itself.

Back view of the box

On the back, the makers have decided to go with a Mac theme and feature elements of Macs. The downside of this, I feel, that it gives the impression that the McTiVia only works with Mac, where it is actually also working on PCs.

Content of the boxes

The content inside the box is pretty simple. Besides the physical unit itself with the two antennas, there is a AC adaptor with multiple "tips", software CD and a simple start-up guide for users to get started. I was a little surprised that they did not include any LAN cable or HDMI cable. So even if you plan to run it on total wireless, you will still need to get your own HDMI cable.
