ASUS wants you to take pride in your PC, shares the story and win prizes


ASUS has recently started their “ASUS PRIDE” global campaign to encourage users to share their motherboard stories with the world. It starts in November, in UK, although entries from other countries are also accepted. Simply share your story and stand to win great prizes, including a motherboard incorporating Intel’s Sandy Bridge.

1st Place in each category: ASUS Sandy Bridge motherboard + Intel Sandy Bridge CPU x3
2nd Place in each category: ASUS RTN56 U series x3
3rd Place in each category: ASUS HD2 Media Player x3


ASUS has announced the launch of a brand new competition, PRIDE, offering users the opportunity to share their motherboard stories with the world. PRIDE stands for Performance, Reliability, Innovation, Design and Efficiency. PC enthusiasts all over the world can reveal their PRIDE starting this month and compete against others to win impressive prizes.

The competition starts in the UK on 1 November 2010. As this is a global campaign, entries from all over the world are also accepted, but start dates vary according to countries, so please check – http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/pride – for different countries PRIDE competition and entry submission dates.

To enter the competition, you only need to share your story of how you have used ASUS technology to achieve satisfaction and pride. After that, submit either a video or pictures, and select the PRIDE category of your choice.

The categories are Performance, Reliability or Innovation/Creativity, and users must write a short story explaining how their entry fits into their chosen category. Grand prizes include local 1st Place in each category: ASUS motherboard using Intel Sandy Bridge, ASUS ML monitor, ASUS RT-N56U black diamond router, the latest ROG 3D notebook (G73) and even an all expenses paid trip to ASUS headquarters in Taiwan.

Closing date is before midnight 23:59 (GMT) on 16th December 2010. User who take part in the international voting (from 05 January 2011) will also have an opportunity to win other great ASUS prizes in the second round.

The top three to six winners from each qualifying country will be selected and announced on 5 January 2011. The fan favorite vote for the regional winners starts on 5 January 2011 at http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/pride with the final vote closing on 17 January 2011.

Voting qualifies you for a daily raffle prize. Grand prize winners will be decided by ASUS and announced on 18th January 2011.
