Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe Preview

Two Gigabit LAN solutions provided by Marvell: An 8EE8053 PCI-E x1 onboard GBe LAN and a 88E1111 Gbe PHY, utilising NF4’s native GBe PCI solution.

SIlicon Image SIL3132CNU PCI-E x1 2 port SATA RAID Solution. There’s only 1 SATA-II port available onboard though, the other’s conveniently placed together with the IO ports as an e-SATA connector, which allows up to 16 devices to be daisy chained to it at once, with options to RAID 0,1,0+1 or 5 too!

The Realtek ALC850 7.1 Audio Solution onboard. Nvidia’s mainboards are lacking High-Definition Audio solutions in general, a downside for them as compared to Intel and likes.

The I/O connectors: 2 PS/2 ports, a parallel port, Coaxial Out, Optical Out, E-SATA, sound connectors, 2 RJ-45 GBe LAN ports and 4x USB ports.

2 IEEE1394a port connectors, 2 total of 6 more USB ports available thru connectors, with another pair of USB connectors hiding just on top of the first PCI-E x1 slot, bellow the SATA-II port provided by Silicon Image.

2 IDE connectors and 1 floppy connector. An area which Nvidia triumph over Intel in. Although SATA is the standard for the future, an extra IDE port onboard can still prove pretty nifty in times of need.
