Apple Announces the All-New iPad Pro with 10.5-inch & 12.9-inch Displays

Apple has recently announced details on the new iPad Pro, which will come in 2 display sizes, 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch. Coming together with your iPad Pros this fall, would also be the brand new iOS 11 that will enhance your Apple experience as well.

10.5-inch iPad Pro

Both the 10.5-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch version will feature the world’s most advanced display with ProMotion technology as well as an incredible performance with the latest A10X Fusion chip. Specific to the new 10.5-inch model is its compact built which reduces the borders of the iPad by nearly 40% to fit into an incredibly small package that still weighs just a mere one pound. The iPad Pro will also come with new features thanks to iOS 11 this fall

iOS 11

One of the things we are most psyched up about is iOS 11, bringing new experiences and hundreds of features to both iPhone and iPad this year. It’s the biggest software release ever for iPad, with powerful multitasking features, the brand new Files app and more ways to use Apple Pencil.

Furthermore, AR is coming to hundreds of millions of iOS devices with a new platform for developers to build apps which lets users place virtual content on top of real-world scenes.

Additional features include the ability to pay friends via Apple Pay, Do Not Disturb mode activated whilst driving will help users stay more focused on the road, and you will also get enhanced intelligence and a new voice for Siri, alongside professional capabilities to Photos and Camera.

iOS 11 is available as a developer preview today and will be a free software update for iPhone and iPad this fall.

App Store

The all-new App Store was also unveiled. It was designed from the ground up to help make app and game discovery easier than ever. The beautifully redesigned App Store is packed with original stories and editorial, which are updated daily in a new Today tab, which includes new Games and Apps tabs. These compelling stories, in-depth interviews, helpful tips and collections of must-have apps and games will showcase Apple’s unique perspective and aim to inform, help and inspire customers every day.

App Store customers have already downloaded over 180 billion apps and Apple has paid out over $70 billion to developers since the store launched in 2008, making it the most vibrant software marketplace in the world. It receives over 500 million unique customers visit it every week.

Yes but its a fruit company thing, and that’s not cool, that’s sheepel.

A lotto win of 860 million could not get me to buy a single product from that brand.

    That’s entirely your prerogative mate.

  3. I think Augmented Reality is the best new thing that Apple introduced 2 days ago. It’s amazing how such a powerful feature like this can be enjoyed on the iPhones without buying an AR glasses. I also love the one called ‘Dock”. This is also a great addition to iOS.

It can be argued that Apple is a bit late to the game with AR and VR. On the other hand I reckon they’re actually coming in at the right time with a complete solution – I’ve seen and tried Lenovo & Asus’ AR phones and they’re now matured since last year. For VR this tech matured last year.
