AOpen XC Cube EY65 & EX65 Review

XC Cube EX65 gives a whole new kind of look from the EY65 and
this time it is meant to portray a sporty look. At the first glance, it indeed
looks like a sport car with its aluminum alloy grilles and black finishing. The
front panel plate has a lot of curves making it even more stylist. The
ventilation system is the same as the EY65 where the holes are located at both
sides of the chassis allows intake of air from the left side and channel out the
hot air from the right side. The drive bays are concealed as well. EX65
certainly suits the speed freaks and gamers alike.

The power button and HDD activity are both illuminated with cool
blue LED light which adds to the overall feel. The front panel connectors
consists of the S/PDIF Out port, Speaker jack, Microphone jack, USB 2.0 ports,
6-pin Firewire port and a 4-pin Firewire port.


There are 4 supporting legs of the EX65 and each of them are
fitted with rubber stopper makes it slip proof.


The back panel is exactly the same as the EY65 with the
switchable PSU (110/230V), Printer port, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, Com port, VGA
port, Coaxial RCA port, Firewire port, S/PDIF In port, Ethernet RJ-45 jack, USB
2.0 ports, Line-In, Speaker and Mic jacks.
