Aopen adopted a simplicity theme for the box.

  • 2x SATA Cable
  • PS/2 port connector with low profile bracket

The mainboard itself

The Back I/O jammed packed with connections, notice that AOpen omitted the
PS/2 ports on I/O, however one PS/2 port is still available via a bracket provided.

The 4 SATA (2SATA, 2 SATA-II) ports found onboard, provided by the ICH6M chipset
and the Silicon Image 3132 PCI-Express SATA II Controller respectively

The Northbridge heatsink

The Sounthbridge heatsink, uniquely crafted with the "AOpen" emblem

The Realtek ALC880 High-Definition Codec delivering High Definition Sound together
with Intel Azalia sound.

The Chrontel S-Video and HDTV out chips providing the respective connections,
as mentioned earlier in the article.

The Agere Firewire 1394A chip

The Dual Marvell 88E8053 PCI-Express Gigabit LAN controllers

Aopen did not forget about the legacy connectors, the Floppy, COM and Printer
ports connectors are all available at the bottom of the board.

Despite the slew of features found onboard, AOpen still included a PCI-E x16
slot for a graphic adaptor, 2 PCI slots and 1 PCI-E x1 slot, as shown in the
picture above.
