AOC e2343F First Looks; AOC launches world’s thinnest LED LCD monitor

Many thanks goes out to Singapore’s AOC distributor, Corbell Technology Pte Ltd for allowing us to have some private hands-on time with the AOC Razor LED e2343F 23″ LCD monitor.

AOC’s Razor LED LCD monitors come in eco-friendly packaging; the box is very compact and 100% recycled pulp mold is used to protect the monitor during shipment.

The Razor LED has:

  • an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1 (yes that’s fifty million), which allows users to make out darker areas of displayed content with greater depth,
  • a built-in timer enables the user to specify a period between 1 to 24 hours before the monitor switches itself off automatically,
  • Screen+ desktop screen splitting software to split your work into different panes,
  • ultra-low power consumption, and
  • VESA wall mount support.

The package includes a quick start guide, a CD containing monitor drivers and the full user manual, and a microfibre cleaning cloth.

The Razor LED sports a piano black trim around the LCD panel while the base is glossy white.

The back of the Razor LED is also completely white.

One DVI input and one VGA input sits at the back of the base. Obviously there isn’t enough space for an integrated power supply as the Razor LED is so compact; an external adapter has to be used.

The hinge allows a tilt angle of -3° to +12°.
