Antec has unveiled the Sonata Proto, extending its Sonata line of Quiet
Computing chassis.

Measuring 425 x 206 x 463mm and weighing 7.5kg, the steel chassis has
three external 5.25” drive bays, six 3.5” bays, one 2.5” bay, seven
expansion slots, vibration-absorbing silicone grommets on the drive
bays, and a front side I/O panel with two USB 2.0 ports and audio
connectors. Available in matte black, the stylish chassis is fully
compatible with all Mini-ITX, microATX and Standard ATX motherboards.
Pre-installed with a rear 120mm TwoCool™ two-speed switch control
exhaust fan, users have the option of adding an additional middle 120mm
fan. Backed by a three year limited warranty, it can be purchased from
authorized retailers, e-tailers and distributors at a MSRP of USD 74.95.
