As promised, the AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card is now available across major markets around the world. For now, the company has only released the 8GB variant of the card, so if you are interested in the 4GB variant instead, you may have to wait longer.
The 8GB variant is now available in the US starting at $229. If you do not mind waiting until July, you can get the 4GB variant for $199. Based on the Polaris 10 silicon, the AMD Radeon RX 480 has a TDP of 150W and draws power using a single 6-pin PCIe power connector.
It features 2304 stream processors with 36 GCN compute units, 144 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and 8GB of GDDR5 memory. Display connectors include three DisplayPort 1.2 and a single HDMI 2.0b port.
