AMD Radeon HD 6970/6950 Voltage Modification Guide

Voltage Measurement Points
Now that we’ve verified the functionality of our ASUS EAH6970/2DI2S/2GD5, it is time to probe at the various Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) outputs to familiarise ourselves with the Radeon HD 6900 power layout.
Under 3D load, on our Radeon HD 6970 sample, the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) VDDC measured 1252 mV. The gDDR5 MVDD measured 1674 mV, and MVDDQ measured 1667 mV.
VDDCI measured 1255 mV. All measurements made were referenced to the PCIe input power connector ground.
