Alienware Seeks To Corner High-Performance PC Gaming

Alienware has recently launched a line-up of new high-performance gaming monitors, keyboards, and mice to meet the demands of PC gamers. In line with Alienware’s signature aesthetics seen on its computers, the new products includes Alienware’s AlienFX lighting to give in-game lighting effects in conjunction with over 150 game titles.

One of the announced monitors is the 25-inch Gaming Monitor, which comes equipped with NVIDIA G-SYNC (AW2518H, SGD1099) or AMD FreeSync (AW2518HF, SGD719) to give players zero input lag, a 1ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate. Its ultra-thin bezel is also perfect for a multi-monitor setup.

Wider than its 25-inch sibling, the Curved 34-inch Gaming Monitor comes with a choice of WQHD (3440 x 1440) or WFHD (2560 x 1080) resolutions and features Alienware’s signature  AlienFX lighting, ultra-thin bezel and NVIDIA G-SYNC. Price and availability to be announced at a later date.

Alienware also launched 2 new gaming keyboards and 2 mice. The Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard (SGD159) comes with mechanical brown switches and five dedicated macro keys. The higher-end Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard (SGD199) builds up on its sibling’s features with 13-zone RGB AlienFX backlit lighting and on-board memory for macros.

The Advanced Gaming Mouse (SGD69) comes with an ergonomic design and on-the-fly DPI adjustment on top of 9 customisable buttons. Its bigger sibling, the Elite Gaming Mouse comes with swappable grips, 13 programmable buttons and 4 weight adjustment levels.

The products were unveiled at the Dell First Look Showcase & Gaming Event at the Dell Exclusive Store at Plaza Singapura, and will feature the top local eSports team competing in the latest Microsoft racing game, Forza Motorsport 7. In addition, customers can now customise and purchase Dell’s business products such as the Latitude and OptiPlex range from the store.
